The last tribal council is something that well, I don't know if words can fully explain. At first, it looked like things had gone wrong and the votes didn't go as planned, but after the host cleared things up, both Todd and Alex went. However, I came under so much fire this week that it's unbelievable. Todd was mad and called me fake on the way out, which I resent because I actually did like the guy and thought he might be cool to talk to after the game. Tracy's been a bit pissed off at me for leaving her out of the vote and not telling her, but I understand that and have told her as such, so hopefully I can get things smoothed out there. With Alex though, man, he was hurt, angry, and all but seemed to want to slice my head off and stick it on a pike. I didn't think he'd take it so personally to be honest, but I feel pretty bad about what happened. It's probably going to take a lot after this for him to forgive me, but I'm prepared to put that effort in to do so since I actually do want his friendship after the game. However, I can't change it now, and I can't let it impact the rest of my game.
It's at a point in the game though where your vote isn't going to be in question or anything like that. Like, people are going to know where you stand, and they're going to know what side you're on whether you want them to or not. The immunity challenge had an interesting twist to it. Todd got to come back to divide us up into two groups for the challenge, and we found out half of us would be vulnerable. My group was myself, Adam, Marcus, Tracy, and Amanda. So naturally, my first thought is "oh crap, only one group's going to Tribal Council, I've got to win". However, I was wrong about that and I find that everybody still goes to TC, but you can only vote for someone from the losing team. In other words, in retrospect it might have been smarter of me to throw it, but I'd rather not put myself at risk and possibly get Tracy more pissed at me.
With the only possible vote options being PG, Penny, Neleh, Kelly, and Gervase, the vote decision seems pretty obvious. Kelly's someone who strikes me as smarter than she lets on and nobody really seems to know quite where she stands despite what she may say. Also, at the last tribal, she pretty much copped out at the worst time by voting for Neleh and Alex, or Todd and Gervase, or something since she said she she'd heard the votes were either Neleh and Gervase or Todd and Alex and went a bit each way. My main worry is that Marcus or Adam will try something with Kelly and make an attempt to pull Neleh/Gervase/Amanda in, but from what I've heard from PG and Penny, they should be smart enough to stick to the plan, well, I hope. The move I made last round was one I made to get further, and I'm not going to let a twist mess it up. I may have nothing against Kelly for doing a good job of staying under the radar most of the time, but somebody's gotta go, and she seems to make the most sense now.
